Unsecured “Security” Cameras

Well, this is awkward… I’m not entirely sure about the legality of posting this, so I’m keeping the instructions in an image (below) instead of linking to any examples.

I’m not even entirely sure you should do this, but it is a great way to waste some time.



Most of the cameras are seemingly “locked” from panning/zooming, but I believe they actually just aren’t capable of doing so. I mean, if you paid someone to set up your network cameras and they weren’t smart enough to secure them, you’re more likely dealing with re-purposed Fisher Price nanny cams anyways.

Many of them have multiple views and a few snap to pre-determined points on-click.
